Game Cancellations
On game days, the Field Manager will inspect the fields. Prior to 7:00 am, the Field Manager and Club President will determine if the game(s) need to be canceled and will notify coaches and update our website. The Club Referee Coordinator will notify the referees for these games.
- After 7am on game day the decision to cancel a game is left to the referee at the field.
- Once the game has started, the decision to stop play rests solely with the referee. If the game is called prior to halftime, the game is to be replayed in its entirety. If the game is called at halftime or any point thereafter, the game is considered a complete game and the final score stands.
Home Games. Our coaches/managers for 9U-18U teams need to notify away teams of cancellations for our home games.
Away Games. Coaches/managers will want to contact that team/club contact for the respective team to determine if the game is on.
MAYSA does not cancel games due to weather!
Practice Cancellation
Due to Field Conditions
On practice days, the Field Manager will inspect the fields. The Field Manager and Club President will determine if the field(s) need to be closed and will notify coaches and update our website.
Every effort will be made to do this prior to noon on practice days.
Coaches will contact players/parents about practices.

Field Information
Ahuska, 600 E. Broadway, Monona : U11 and U12 Map
Directions to field: From Beltline Hwy., take Monona Dr. north to Broadway (first stoplight). Go east a short way on E. Broadway; fields are on the south side of the road.
American Heritage, 4534 American Way, Cottage Grove : U-8 Map
Directions to field: Take Hwy. BB east from Cottage Grove. Go 1.5 miles, turn left onto American Way, follow American Way to field.
Bakken Park, 4050 Vilas Rd.,Cottage Grove: U13 – U18 Map
Directions to field: From Madison take Hwy. 12-18 east, take Hwy N exit. Turn left on Hwy N. Go 2.4 miles and turn left on Coffeytown Rd. Go 0.4 miles. Turn right on Vilas Rd. Go 0.6 miles. Bakken Park fields and parking will be on your right.
From I-94, take Hwy N into Cottage Grove. Continue on Hwy N through 2nd set of stop and go lights. Just after crossing railroad tracks, turn right on Clark St. Turn left on Vilas and go about 0.2 miles. Bakken Park fields and parking will be on your left.
Bass Park, 3826 Sky High Rd.,Cottage Grove: U11 and U12 Map
Directions to field: From Madison on Hwy. 12-18, turn left on Hwy AB. At four way stop, turn right on Femrite Dr. Go 0.2 miles and take a slight left onto Hope Rd. Follow this for about 2 miles, then turn right on Gladeview Rd.; go about 1 block and turn left on Bass Ln. (Bass Ln. becomes Skyhigh Rd.) Please try to park on Warren St. or on park side of Skyhigh Rd. only.
Glacial Drumlin, 801 Damascus Trail, Cottage Grove Map
Directions to field: Field is North of Glacial Drumlin school.
Northlawn (aka Taylor Prairie), 900 N. Parkview St, Cottage Grove Map
Directions to field: Take Hwy 12/18 east, exiting at Hwy N. Take Hwy N north into Cottage Grove. At the four way stop (at Hwy BB), proceed north on Hwy N. Take 2nd left onto W. Parkview. Stay on Parkview until it reaches Taylor Prairie school. Field is east of Taylor Prairie school.
Ravenwood Field, 4595 Sandpiper Trail, Cottage Grove : U9 and U10 Map
Directions to field: Take Cottage Grove Rd east from Madison, turn left onto Vilas Rd, go north to Gaston Rd, turn right. Take Gaston to Ravenwood Heights, turn right onto Raven Way, turn left onto Blue Bird, right onto Sandpiper Trail.
RG Huston (aka Arrowwood) Field, 400 Trillium Trail, Cottage Grove : U9 Map
Directions to field: Hwy 12/18 east to Hwy N, Right onto Taylor St, Right onto Yarrow Hill, Yarrow Hill ends at the field.
Town Hall, 4058 County Hwy N, Cottage Grove: U11 and U12 Map
Directions to field: Take 12/18 east to Hwy N, field is on the right next to the Town Hall/Fire Station.
NOTICE: Please do NOT park in the designated employee parking area at the Town Hall (on the North side of the building, between the Hall and the Town Garage). Violators will be ticketed.
